When to contact a doctor

## Signs to contact a doctor immediately

Seek medical attention or go to A&E if you experience any of the following while using your hair loss treatment:

- Chest pain, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing
- Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, hands or feet
- Sudden weight gain or fluid retention
- Fainting, dizziness or loss of consciousness
- Severe scalp irritation, blistering or rash that spreads
- Rapid or irregular heartbeat

These symptoms are rare but require urgent evaluation. Stop using your medication until you have been assessed.

## When to contact our clinical team

Contact your prescriber or our support team for advice if you experience:

- Mild scalp irritation or itching that does not improve after a few days
- Persistent shedding beyond the initial adjustment period
- Mood changes, such as depression or anxiety (possible with finasteride)
- New or worsening headaches
- Any other side effect that concerns you

We can advise on adjustments to dosing or formulations. Do not self‑medicate or increase your dose without guidance.

## Routine updates

You should also contact us if:

- You start any new medications or develop new health conditions
- You become pregnant or plan to conceive (stop finasteride immediately)
- You are scheduled for surgery or medical procedures and need to discuss your medications
- You plan to stop treatment or change frequency

Our clinical team is available to help you use treatment safely and effectively.

If you are ever in doubt about a symptom, it is better to seek medical advice than to continue without guidance.
